My Top Five Spiritual Books

The Seat of the Soul – Gary Zukav // my Mom gave me this book for Christmas years ago. It’s still very, very relevant. Gary’s ability to distill very celestial and, unworldly concepts into very digestible and meaningful forms is quite amazing and refreshing.

Everyday Tao: Living with Balance and Harmony – Deng Ming-Dao // my Sensei (SPINNING Master Instructor, Doug Katona) recommended this one to me. My copy has many, many margin notes and highlights … and, dog-eared pages for living life with a little more “center”.

How to See Yourself as You Really Are – Dalai Lama // a very powerful read. Are you ready to really and truly see your genuine, pure self? Another book in which the ethereal is distilled, quite nicely, into the real.

The Way of Zen – Alan Watts // another recommendation from my Sensei. Good stuff if you’re seeking a deeper meaning of the Japanese philosophy.

Flow – Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi // another classic that will help get you in and, keep you in … your very own zone.
